  • Stripe data (via OAuth): connected account identifiers, subscription/invoice/payment status, customer metadata needed for recovery workflows
  • Customer communication data: email addresses and dunning email event data (send/delivery/open/click status when available)
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, session actions, and approximate location derived from IP
  • Support communications: messages you send to us

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain payment recovery features
  • Run automated retries for failed Stripe subscription payments
  • Send and optimize dunning emails
  • Calculate and bill subscription and recovery fees
  • Monitor performance, detect abuse, and improve product reliability
  • Personalize email messaging (including AI-assisted suggestions)
  • Comply with legal and financial recordkeeping obligations

4. Third-Party Services We Use

RetryKit uses trusted providers to operate the service:

  • Stripe: payments, subscription data, and Stripe Connect OAuth account access
  • Supabase: application database and storage
  • Resend: delivery of dunning and transactional emails
  • PostHog: product analytics and usage insights
  • Gemini AI: email copy personalization and content assistance

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Legal Bases and Permissions

We process data as needed to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention and product improvement), comply with legal obligations, and where required, based on consent.

6. Data Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for service delivery, dispute resolution, and legal/accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. When data is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Cookies and Tracking

RetryKit uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and understand product usage (including analytics via PostHog). You can control cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • Request a portable copy of your data
