FAQ
What counts as a recovered payment?
A recovered payment is a failed Stripe subscription charge that later succeeds due to RetryKit’s retry logic or dunning flow. You’re only charged on that recovered amount.
How does the 5% fee work?
Your first successful recovery is free. After that, if RetryKit recovers $1,000 in previously failed charges, the fee is $50. If nothing is recovered, you pay $0.
Why do I add a payment method?
The card is only for RetryKit recovery fees after a successful recovery. Connecting Stripe is free, and adding a payment method lets RetryKit keep recovering payments automatically after your free first recovery.
Is my Stripe data secure?
Yes. RetryKit connects via Stripe OAuth and uses secure, token-based access. We only request the permissions needed to monitor and recover failed payments.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no contracts or minimum commitments. You can disconnect whenever you want.
What if I'm already using Stripe's built-in retries?
RetryKit adds an extra recovery layer with smarter retry timing and dunning communication. Most teams use it to recover revenue Stripe’s default settings miss.
